Meine Forschung umfasst insbesondere Hüft- und Kniechirurgie, Kinderorthopädie, Wachstumssteuerung, Knorpelforschung und orthopädische Bildgebung.
Die Habilitation an der Medizinischen Universität Wien steht für die Verbindung von klinischer Tätigkeit, Forschung und universitärer Lehre.

Erfindung zur Verbesserung der Hüftsonographie
Ein wissenschaftlicher Schwerpunkt beschäftigt sich mit der Verbesserung der Reproduzierbarkeit der sonographischen Untersuchung der Säuglingshüfte.
Dabei wurde ein elektronisches Orientierungssystem entwickelt, das die relative Ausrichtung von Ultraschallsonde und Patient erfasst und dadurch eine reproduzierbare Positionierung der Sonde unterstützen kann.
